This was part of a character trade... I painted it in 2000 sometime I think. It's watercolour on an A1 sized sheet of watercolour paper. It was rather hard to work on a watercolour image that size...

The Characters were Askew and Neraven, I traded with Emilly Carrol.. I lost the image she made of my Pinky character.

Lovely happy colors and cool characters and a very enjoyable scene. Plus I like this version much more than the Smartipants version in your gallery.

You did come a long way. Even though this picture captures a wonderull atmosphere with lovely colors and a nice story depicted. Your anatomy has way improved!

Wow, this is amazing. I could never draw buildings that well. Plus, I adore your character designs, they all look super cool and chic.

Hey thanks! :)
Ah, I haven't done a watercolour painting like this in ages... One of the trouble I had when I painted this was trying to paint all the different buildings a different colour! XD
I've learned a lot about BGs since then... This was quite a pain since I took reference photos to get the designs right, and I tried to make the perspective accurate too...
